William Eggleston's "The Democratic Forest" (1st Ed. HC; intro by Eudora Welty)
This collection of the late photographer's work was curated by Michael Almereyda and includes previously unexhibited works. The color plates are reproduced in extreme detail and color fidelity. This first edition was released in a limited print run.
This is the rare first edition, published by Scalo in 2003. He eventually abandoned this project--and hardly any of the negatives were ever printed. Published in collaboration with Museum Ludwig, Cologne.
